The Meeting was called to order by President Rob Thomson at 10:30. Joe Calder, Past President agreed to act as Secretary and take minutes in absence of Jeremy How (regrets).
Please see the news release concerning the report from the Intertek Scientific & Regulatory Consultancy which reviewed the IARC Monograph on Glyphosate from earlier this season.
After reviewing all the information, the Expert Panel confirms that glyphosate does not cause cancer including Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
The annual AVMA Business Meeting will be held at in the Bluenose Ballroom of the Delta Halifax Hotel with facilitator Craig Parsons, President of AVMA, on September 22nd, 2015 with. Registration begins at 5 PM.
The Environmental Concerns in Rights-of-Way Management - Eleventh International Symposium will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia from September 20-23, 2015.
The event will be held at the Delta Halifax, 1990 Barrington Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia B3J 1P2 Canada with registration beginning at 4 PM on Saturday, September 19th, 2015 at 4 PM.
