Stayed at Glasshouse last weekend was really unimpressed considering the rates they charge! No worries, most of the place can be seen by simply looking through the iron fence as the abbey was in ruins and not much left of the walls facing the street so we could see all the rooms, what was left of them. Such a lovely waterfall and the walk to it is lovely a little bit tough but doable. and while initially we tought we were going to go up the mountain, we quickly was enhanced by the majesty of the views from many of the holes. Rooms were clean and in a quiet location. If you are interested in exploring Sligo, check out one of the ancient ruins, such as Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery and Diarmuid & Grainne's Cave.
