The organizing committee is busy working on the 2018 AVMA AGM agenda. This year the AGM will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia from October 10th to 12th. The theme of this year's meeting is Dealing with changing conservation measures.

The annual AVMA Business Meeting will be held at in the Bluenose Ballroom of the Delta Halifax Hotel with facilitator Craig Parsons, President of AVMA, on September 22nd, 2015 with. Registration begins at 5 PM.
The Environmental Concerns in Rights-of-Way Management - Eleventh International Symposium will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia from September 20-23, 2015.

Charity Silent Auction: Again this year we will be having the “Randy & Howard” silent auction during our AGM. All proceeds will go to the Children’s Wish Foundation. If you have items you wish to donate to the auction, please let us know. The more items the more funds raised for charity.

The 2013 Annual General Meeting of AVMA will be held October 23 to 25 at the Best Western Glengarry in Truro, Nova Scotia. A block of rooms has been set aside for AVMA at $115 per night. It includes your breakfast.

The AVMA Constitution and By-laws requires a written notice be sent to the membership prior to the voting at the AGM. There will be a vote on the proposed revised By-law 5 (attached below) at the AGM in St. John’s.
In recent years it has been a new tradition to hold a silent auction in memory of our friends Randy and Howard. All the proceeds of the auction go to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
