Fellow Vegetation Managers,

Please see the link below to the news release concerning the report from the Intertek Scientific & Regulatory Consultancy which reviewed the IARC Monograph on Glyphosate from earlier this season.

After reviewing all the information, the Expert Panel confirms that glyphosate does not cause cancer including Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

You will also see all negativity such a review can stir in the public.  Please remember these important points:

When a manufacturer of a pesticide prepares a submission for registration to a governing body like our own PMRA, the studies showing the product ecotoxicity and safety must be prepared under the Good Lab Practices (GLP) by a laboratories that are GLP certified.  This is a mandatory requirement in order to be considered for sub mission.

IARC did not include the GLP requirement when considering the independent studies they used in making their decision.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best Wishes for the Holiday Season,

Michael Cunningham
